Question about configuring reverse DNS?

Ok, I’ve had an email server up for about a year, and occasionally we have emails we send detected as spam. I did have the reverse dns pointer records setup from our ISP, but I am questioning if I am using the correct settings. I am suspicious that these servers which are flagging our email as spam could possibly be set to perform reverse dns lookups, and seeing that the domain tied to our IP doesn’t match.

We have a domain, lets just call it mydomain.com
We have a static public IP address, and behind that address are several servers to handle our website, VPN, email, etc…
The A record for that domain points to our public IP address.

We have to MX records, the lowest number (highest priority) points to a hosted email filtering service which does offisite filtering and then delivers to our mail server. the 2nd MX record points to mail.mydomain.com.
There is also an A record for mail.mydomain.com which points to our public IP address.

the email addresses are in the format user@mydomain.com

I have the reverse DNS pointer setup to point to mail.mydomain.com
Should this have been setup to point to mydomain.com instead?
We are not open relay.
That was one of the first things I did when I setup exchange.

How do you contact Yahoo on reopening an old possibly closed email account? More details on question below.?

Ok, this has been a major headache for years, and resulted in me having to eventually re-sign up with yahoo on the current account I am using now. I am not a business either. For my old address, I used to sign in almost daily, then one day my password was claimed inccorrecct, so I orginally abandoned it. But every now and then I try to re-create this email address, but I am told it is still being used. I did a reverse email search with the Network tools website, and in one line it says "closed" which leaves me to believe for some reason, Yahoo closed my old email account with no warning 6 or 7 years ago. I’ve spent hours on this, and it seems the last leg to turn on is to somehow contact yahoo and see if I can reactivate this account. But they wont talk to me unless I am with Yahoo business. Is there anyone out there with an alternate solution to my problem? Let me end by adding, I just recently tried signing into the old email address again, password doesnt work, and I tried a forgot password option, but the alternate email address seems to have been changed from what I had originally put (ie i put 8characters@hotmail.com but they have 10characters@hotmail.com). Following that failed attempted I tried the last option with verifying my birthdate and zipcode, etc. But that doesnt match either. So all in all I may be screwed in ever getting my old email address back, but another thing that leads me to beleive it’s closed, is that I tried sending an email to that address with a gmail email address, and it was undeliverable. Once again, has anyone experienced this and found an alternate solution? Sorry for the length of the question, but I wanted to touch base on basically everything I have tried to resolve this myself. Thanks in advance.
I understand Yahoo has the right. When I say "for whatever reason" I am not saying they don’t. And I also understand that all the old emails and contacts will be gone. I wanted to try to reclaim the old email address, if it became free over time after being closed, for the pure fact of getting an email from another site very very recently. To add a bit more detail, I simply forgot my password on this other site, and the only email address they may be wanting to send a password reset to, is my old one. I am assuming even after a yahoo email address "specific name" is closed and can never be reactivated, that particular username will never be freed up again for anyone to use in the coming months or years to come? As with that site I created a new account too. So if I am screwed, so be it. But anyone else with any other additional info would be truly appreciated, and I am not asking anyone to repeat them selves either. Thanks again.
Oh and I also understand that with the email address being closed, that the recent email being sent from the other site would simply bounce back and not be sent, just in case anyone wanted to point that out. :)

I can’t understand why he’s doing this? Ladies and Men especially, I need answers!?

I have been with my boyfriend for almost a year now. We are living together, we have two pets together, and we are planning to get married, and buy a house. Everything SHOULD be perfect… But I was snooping… (which I know is wrong, but my gut feelings are that something is going on that isn’t good.)

I found that he is subscribed to OKcupid.com and adultfriendfinder.com… which are basically sites to find dates or hook up. I knew he was subscribed to adult friend finder, and I asked him to cancel his account… he SAID he did… but he still opens EVERY email from that site and okcupid. From okcupid he was talking to a match he had, but he told her he was attached (she wasn’t very pretty anyway) I don’t understand why he even bothers with opening and answering those emails unless he IS looking for someone else. I feel like I’m being a bad girlfriend for not trusting him. Other than that he hasn’t given me any reasons not to trust him (like sneaking around etc…) I don’t know what to do anymore. my heart is breaking. How should I address this? PLEASE, I’m begging for help.
