I keep receiving explicit messages from Yahoo messenger to my phone from email datheat1@yahoo.com about my fiance and I from someone we believe to be her ex. I did an email reverse search through a paid service and received a name we’ve never heard of and two address’s, The name, which we believe is fake, is Javon Baker
and the two address’s are 2462 Curie Ct
Herndon, VA 20171 and 855 Knight Ct
Charlottesvle, VA 22901. The ip address I received through the paid service is 209.131.36.158. Is there anyway I can find out through this information who is sending me these messages to my phone?

Hey. Ok… so there’s this "problem". One of my friends, someone is trying to be like her. Such as make a fake msn account, which was succesful. But now, they are trying to be like me and saying that I like this guy and crap. I was trying to find the IP address for the fake but for every program you had to pay. Please help me if possible and with the IP address , i tried email finder but it didnt work.

Ok, I’ve had an email server up for about a year, and occasionally we have emails we send detected as spam. I did have the reverse dns pointer records setup from our ISP, but I am questioning if I am using the correct settings. I am suspicious that these servers which are flagging our email as spam could possibly be set to perform reverse dns lookups, and seeing that the domain tied to our IP doesn’t match.

We have a domain, lets just call it mydomain.com
We have a static public IP address, and behind that address are several servers to handle our website, VPN, email, etc…
The A record for that domain points to our public IP address.

We have to MX records, the lowest number (highest priority) points to a hosted email filtering service which does offisite filtering and then delivers to our mail server. the 2nd MX record points to mail.mydomain.com.
There is also an A record for mail.mydomain.com which points to our public IP address.

the email addresses are in the format user@mydomain.com

I have the reverse DNS pointer setup to point to mail.mydomain.com
Should this have been setup to point to mydomain.com instead?
We are not open relay.
That was one of the first things I did when I setup exchange.

I have a reverse DNS record that matches my servername, and I’ve checked all the RBL lists and my IP address doesn’t appear in any of them. It’s a new domain registration so I know it’s never been used for spam…

But any mail I send gets caught by the spam filter and dropped into the persons Bulk Mail folder. How do I change that?

I have noticed that ppl have searched me on zabasearch and they are usually from Mountainview, CA (that’s what the ip address says).

I am also on Craigslist, and get some strange emails, when I look up the emails (reverse email search), the ip addresses are from Mountainview, CA.

Does anyone know the reason for this?

I received an email on my space that was very awkward. It said to tell this certain person hi. (that person is my wife lets call her L) for our protection. He remembers her from the bar with her cousin which they got kicked out of. Well first of my wife drinks very little and the only night she ever went out was with my sister. At first he wanted to know if L was my sister and to tell her he wanted to go out with her. I dont even look at my space my wife does. She seen it and told me about it and wrote him back and told him that it was my wife and do not know who you are. About 2 weeks later I received an e-mail to my personel account which only family and friends have. It was very personal and this person knew that I had moved, my work schedule and even the names of my dogs. How can I find out who this is? I have the email address. I have tried all the free online reverse email searches that I could find. It tells me no such address. What do I do?

Thank u 4 ur concern I know my wife very well. As I said she is the one that originally told me about this. I have a suspition about 2 diff. people it may be. It might be either my ex or hers just playing a prank. But I am not certain of this. But I will find out one way or the other.

I tried the arinswhois and it told me the ip address came from CA. On his my space there is no pic. but it gives his age and says he lives in the same town as I do. Can he some how be routing it to look like that or what. I mean he knew my dogs names. My wife is pretty fritened right now we have 4 kids. I need to know were and who this guy is.

A while back, i asked a question on here about someone repeatedly sending invites to add them to my yahoo chat/messenger thing. the address from the person was amr_roben24@yahoo.com.
well, i blocked them. and they stopped. but now, i keep getting messages from my yearbook.com with the same person trying to get me to add them on myyearbook. I dont even have one of those accounts. so, i did a reverse I.P. lookup, and the address was from sunnyvale california. Im in california as well, but here is the weird part. My husbands crazy ex-girlfriend lives in san jose. and that has the same area code as sunnyvale. and she has tried to add me to my yearbook and i never did. (im happy with my myspace) so what are the chances of it being her? or has anyone else gotten emails from the amr_roben24@yahoo.com before? please help
well, no he isnt indian. we are white. I found the profile on myyearbook. the default pic is of a chick with a really nice butt. anyway, that one says they are from egypt, and says its a male, but the layout says NY (new York) the ip address is 209.131.36.158

When I do a reverse email search for my email address it gives me an IP Address. My question is: when I search for nearly every one of my contacts in my address book, it gives me the same IP Address for all of them. There were only a few of the email addresses I searched that actually gave me a different IP Address. What is the IP Address and what good is it?

I have an email that was received from a person in Costa Rica. But when I did a reverse lookup, it showed Illinois and also Maryland as where the originating IP address was from. Could it b possible for someone in C.Rica to send and email off of a server in the U.S?

When a consultant set up a firewall and exchange email server for me, they told me to have my ISP set up a reverse DNS lookup for my email server. I am in the process of switching ISPs and reconfiguring the firewall.

Can I have my new ISP set up a new reverse lookup for the new IP address of my email server, while the other still exisits?

In other works can I have two reverse lookups (IP addresses) pointing to the same name (ex. mail.mydomain.com)?

I also have the ip address if that would help. It is a Hotmail account that I am trying to look up.
