On my yahoo email it says I’m under thirteen (Which I was when I created my account), I want to be able to ask questions from my account and use friend finder on facebook. However it says, I’m not old enough. Do I change this from my account or my parents? Please answer quickly. *Impatience*.(:

I have a Facebook account and say someone else with a Facebook account uses the friend finder to get people from their MSN (Which I am on theirs). When they search and find you does it show your name or just your email?

Is there any way of preventing this if so.
1) They Use MSN Search On Facebook
2) I Come Up (As Im On Their MSN)
3) Does it show my name?

If it says someone found you through the friend finder…is that the one where they find people through their email contact list?

I have spent the past year finding school friends on a onine friend finder. Though the experience has given me joy, and did not expect the pain that has followed due to the fact that I disappeared out of their lives because of tragic circumstances that befall my family. It felt like everyone forgot about me, especially my friends who didn’t know where I had disapeared too. I have finally decide to leave the past behind, and see who would follow me to the future so I left the friend finder and emailed everyone with my actual email and number for them to keep in touch if they want. One of the guys I used to go to school with who I didn’t remember particularly being friend of foe with was one of the few people who wants to keep in touch with me. This brings me to my question. He sent me a message saying here are my details but also added that he thought I had turned out to be a right looker, and now can find him ANY time I want to, then put this =;) at the end of that statement. What does this mean???I find myself drawn to him too, I mean he was always a nice guy, but its been about 20 years, and it is online!How do I respond to that?Is he pulling my leg?what do you think?
This is answer to marks question "is he near by" No he lives in another country, or I should say I live in another country. The thing that I don’t get really is that up until this message I had not really spoken to him. Its face book so its open to anyone who is your friend, which he was. And yes I totally fancy him!!! But Its confusing how he didn’t say anything till I was closing down my account. Though he did make it a private message. Also it turns out that when I left school he became best friends with the girl who used to be my best friend. So I don’t want to get it wrong. What I did was I sent him a message with a few other people who wanted to keep in touch, saying I was making sure it was the right email etc… and that was days go. He did say in that same email where complimented me that he is so crap at answering emails, so maybe he hasn’t checked it?.
I was to chicken to post this before but I am thinking of pursuing this so could do with peoples advise,do you still think he’s interested now reading the actual email? :

They are not able to see/read these notifications in their home page even when I have checked all boxes in Facebook to make sure my friends are notified of me adding friends, sending comments. The only time my hubby gets a friend notification of mine is if I add someone from the email friend finder. Yesterday I saw on his home page, 5 of his friends had their names in the notification saying…so and so is now friends with so and so. How does mine pop up for others to see? what do I have to do?

I was browsing my husband’s facebook account (with his consent of course) and used the Friend Finder feature to see if I could locate a few old friends on facebook. Unfortunately, it’s now associating my email addy with his facebook account. So every time I get a friend request, it shows up on his facebook account. Is there anyway to remove my email addy from his Friend Finder thing or reverse this? Many thanks beforehand for your answers!

I keep getting random request from friend finder, thats by my email I think, and I want to block myself from being found. Is there a way to do this?

My account is activated, and my profile was verified by email…but when i do a search using my name or display name my profile doesn’t show up…it’s frustrating because the only reason i opened a frigging account was so old friends who might be looking for me could find me…my profile doesn’t even show up in my groups…the friend-finder email search does work though…i contacted customer service but haven’t gotten a reply…anyone know what’s up?

I just got a facebook, and I’m trying to use the little friend finder thing… Where you type in your email and password, then you can find friends that way. Well when I type my password in, a little window opens up for like a half a second then closes, nothing happens. Does anyone know what’s going on? Am I doing it right?

im trying to look at somebodys profile on facebook that is not in my friends list. the only way i seem to be able to find them is threw my email friend finder and i added him but he hasent accepted and i want to go look at his profile now. its really important that i do. im i allowed to look at someones profile that is not on my friends list? someone tell me how to do this, i just got a facebook and its way different then myspace

Basically my ex added me on facebook and it said "******* found you using the Friend Finder".

I was just wondering whether this was specific to one of the ways they found you or if it meant it could be any of the four (Which are: 1. Find People You Email, 2. Discover People You May Know, 3. I know I have done it a couple of times in the past, the email friend finder tool on Facebook. I enter in my Yahoo address and then immediately now an error comes up: "We can’t import contacts from this address yet." What happened? Why isn’t Yahoo supported anymore, and any other way to easily check Facebook for my Yahoo email address book contacts? Thanks!

If you have blocked and deleted someone on your msn contacts, can they find you through the ‘friend finder’ thing on facebook that uses your email account and contacts?

When I go on Facebook. I’ll see notifications in the home page of let’s say.. Gina D is now friends with Allen F via the People you may know Tool. and Gina D is now friends with Saie via the email friend finder. I also get about 2 or 3 notifications that just say….Gina D is now friends with Samantha. Gina D is now friends with Samuel S. these plain friend notifications are what I expect my friends to see when I add a person everyday. But my husbadn tells me that when he logs on, he never sees any new notifications in his home [age about me, Saira is now friends with so and so. He only gets the notifications if I added someone from email friend finder or the people you may know tool. How about the ones who I add just plain and simple that should then come up on his home page but he never gets anything. I get the ones from him. What should I do to my page/settings to make sure my husband can seee who I am friends with…besides the people you may know and email friend finger? how will know the friends I have on a regular basis that i add randomly? why can’t he see those?

I just received an email from my yahoo address with some advert, plus I can see from the cc line that it was sent to ALL people in my yahoo addressbook. I changed my password immediately, emptied the addressbook, I hope that’s enough. Is there something else I should do?

Is there a feature like Facebook’s ‘Friend Finder’ in MySpace? Where I enter my email, then MySpace would show me the people in my contact list with MySpace. Is this possible?

Facebook - I have created a Group.

The Group is for everyone in my graduating class of my university.

I am not (Facebook) Friends with all of these people, obviously. But I can find each of them in the Friend Finder.

I want to invite all of them to join this Group.

But the Group invitation feature only allows me to invite Friends, or else people who are not in Facebook whose email address I have. It does not let me invite the people who match my search in Friend Finder.

Also Friend Finder lets me ask people to be a Friend, or send them a message. But does not let me send at once to all of them an invitation to the Group. I cannot message each of them about the Group because that is considered Spam.

Is there a way to do what I need to do? Invite the results of my Friend Finder search to my Group?
