If your roommate goes thru your personal email & finds something they don't like, do you have to apologize?
March 13th, 2010 by admin | 14 Comments | Filed in Email Finder
We all just moved from one apartment to the other and my email was to a best friend in my home state, talking about what terrible packers and movers my roommates are. I refered to them as "lazy" and called them out for leaving mess (stuffed into trash bags the morning of the move) day after day and going out to get wasted, trash the house and start all over again.
Obviously, they are now mad. I apologized that they read that and it hurt their feelings, but I defend my right to use my personal email to vent my frustrations to a friend of 13 years who I talk about everything with. I absolutely would not believe for a moment that they haven’t been out with their respective friends, venting their own frustrations.
The finder of the email insists that it "popped up," but it’s an old facebook message which eventually turns into a conversation about how my ankles have been bothering me. He would have had to click "earlier messages" to get to the information that made him so mad.

How do I hide myself from Facebook/MSN friend finder?
March 7th, 2010 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Email Finder
Okay, so as some as you may know that on Facebook there is a friend finder thing, where you can log into an email account (such as MSN messenger) and find your friends. Is there a way I can hide myself from it? I’ve been getting friend requests from my MSN contacts but I don’t want them because half of them are strangers.

I’m only using it for family and friends in real life, and I don’t want strangers knowing what I look like from my profile pic.

Facebook friend finder isn’t working?
January 20th, 2010 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Email Finder
I just got a facebook, and I’m trying to use the little friend finder thing… Where you type in your email and password, then you can find friends that way. Well when I type my password in, a little window opens up for like a half a second then closes, nothing happens. Does anyone know what’s going on? Am I doing it right?

Why can’t I use the email friend finder anymore for Yahoo! contacts on Facebook?
November 6th, 2009 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Email Finder
I know I have done it a couple of times in the past, the email friend finder tool on Facebook. I enter in my Yahoo address and then immediately now an error comes up: "We can’t import contacts from this address yet." What happened? Why isn’t Yahoo supported anymore, and any other way to easily check Facebook for my Yahoo email address book contacts? Thanks!

Why can’t my friends see who I am adding as friends everyday on Facebook?
September 28th, 2009 by admin | 3 Comments | Filed in Email Finder
Why is it that my best friends and husband also are not able to see the notifications coming up that….I am not friends with so and so person. The only notifications they get is if I add someone from the people you may know tool and email friend finder. On my home page in facebook, i see notifications like…Mark H is now friends with Jenny. and Lisa is now friends with Swathi.
What do I do to make sure others can see who I am friends with on a daily basis?

Facebook seems to associate all email addresses with my account. Is there a way to stop this?
September 27th, 2009 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Reverse Email Lookup
Last week, I searched for friends on Facebook using a bunch of email addresses. Now, people are trying to add me who shouldn’t know me. I’m assuming that these other email addresses were reverse associated with my account the moment I used them to try to find others. Is there a way to de-associate these other email addresses?
