Okay, so as some as you may know that on Facebook there is a friend finder thing, where you can log into an email account (such as MSN messenger) and find your friends. Is there a way I can hide myself from it? I’ve been getting friend requests from my MSN contacts but I don’t want them because half of them are strangers.

I know all the information except the postal code. I emailed yahoo they said that was the only thing i got wrong.

I had to get into my husband’s email account to print something off. When I was in it I found out he has an adult friend finder account which is for s e x with others. Well I logged in to his AFF account and didn’t see any recent activity or any messages to or from. However, I found out he opened his account 2 weeks after WE GOT MARRIED !

We have a great sex life so that can’t be the problem rest assured. His profile has limited info and he says that he "is just checking the site out and hasn’t made any decisions yet".
What decisions is he talking about ?!

Well I created my own account and I have emailed him. It may seem wrong but I have to know if he would cheat on me because we are married now. If things go down, I will try to set up a date with him and to his surprise he will be meeting me and possibly my wedding ring in his face.

Why would he have this account? He always tells me how I am such a great wife. I haven’t said anything cause I plan on catching him with ME !

Okay,your in your spouse’s email and see emails from "Adult friend finder" with lists of the opposite sex in your area. You "sign in" and see that all their info is there and correct. You officially know it wasnt just another advertisement but your partner took the time to join,except the money hadnet been paid to access these people in your area,they can only browse at this time. You bring this up to your partner,who denies it at first,then admits it bc theyre clearly cornered. Your spouse says they had no intention on going further. Your spouse has the emails stopped(at that email account anyway) and you basically drop it(for the most part).A few months later theres an "adult friend finder" icon on your computer desktop. Now,whats your opinion? Please dont TELL ME to leave him. This isnt about me,just say your thoughts.

If you have blocked and deleted someone on your msn contacts, can they find you through the ‘friend finder’ thing on facebook that uses your email account and contacts?

Ok, this has been a major headache for years, and resulted in me having to eventually re-sign up with yahoo on the current account I am using now. I am not a business either. For my old address, I used to sign in almost daily, then one day my password was claimed inccorrecct, so I orginally abandoned it. But every now and then I try to re-create this email address, but I am told it is still being used. I did a reverse email search with the Network tools website, and in one line it says "closed" which leaves me to believe for some reason, Yahoo closed my old email account with no warning 6 or 7 years ago. I’ve spent hours on this, and it seems the last leg to turn on is to somehow contact yahoo and see if I can reactivate this account. But they wont talk to me unless I am with Yahoo business. Is there anyone out there with an alternate solution to my problem? Let me end by adding, I just recently tried signing into the old email address again, password doesnt work, and I tried a forgot password option, but the alternate email address seems to have been changed from what I had originally put (ie i put 8characters@hotmail.com but they have 10characters@hotmail.com). Following that failed attempted I tried the last option with verifying my birthdate and zipcode, etc. But that doesnt match either. So all in all I may be screwed in ever getting my old email address back, but another thing that leads me to beleive it’s closed, is that I tried sending an email to that address with a gmail email address, and it was undeliverable. Once again, has anyone experienced this and found an alternate solution? Sorry for the length of the question, but I wanted to touch base on basically everything I have tried to resolve this myself. I understand Yahoo has the right. When I say "for whatever reason" I am not saying they don’t. And I also understand that all the old emails and contacts will be gone. I wanted to try to reclaim the old email address, if it became free over time after being closed, for the pure fact of getting an email from another site very very recently. To add a bit more detail, I simply forgot my password on this other site, and the only email address they may be wanting to send a password reset to, is my old one. I am assuming even after a yahoo email address "specific name" is closed and can never be reactivated, that particular username will never be freed up again for anyone to use in the coming months or years to come? As with that site I created a new account too. So if I am screwed, so be it. But anyone else with any other additional info would be truly appreciated, and I am not asking anyone to repeat them selves either. Thanks again.
Oh and I also understand that with the email address being closed, that the recent email being sent from the other site would simply bounce back and not be sent, just in case anyone wanted to point that out.

Someone sent me an email which said, because their email account had been hacked into, they now had a new email address to be used. However, the new address (their name at yahoo) wasn’t much different, simply reversed their name and still at yahoo. Were they kidding me?!

My husband was travelling on work almost every week and one day i found out on his computer that he had made some psuedo email address which was a completely different name and was using that email address to log on to sex siteslike adult friend finder etc …when i confronted him he admitted that he did it for porn and had no other intentions and actually opened the email address to show me the inbox and also swore by our child that he had no intentions of cheating on me and it was just to browse pics on these website and he had to make an email account as these websites dont let u log on till the time u put an email address …but the had profiles made under those names which were quite hurtful.He has always been luving and caring and have always expressed missing his family while being away on travel…He has assured me a lot , even written on a piece of paper as to how much he loves me and want to see me happy….i am still too shaken to beleive anything ..what shall i do?
