facebook - IP from sender finder?

is there a way to find an IP Address from somebody who sent a message to my facebook account?

I know it also goes to your email account when messaged. Is there a way to find the IP address from the sender?

Not really, the IP you would see anyway would not be the specific person. It would be the IP of their Internet Service Provider. Then their ISP would provide and IP for them which would be hidden, then if they are behind a firewall or router then again it would be hidden further. So you really would never be able to get their IP unless you hacked your way past a lot of firewalls and their ISP.
